In 2021, two long-time friends and talented DJs/producers decided to channel their shared passion into a project that transcends boundaries. Through MËSTIZA, they’ve unearthed a unique soundscape, combining traditional Spanish rhythms with modern electronic beats. Their journey is more than just music, it’s an exploration of identity and creative self-expression.
December 2023 marked a major milestone for MËSTIZA with the release of their debut album, QUËRELES. Featuring a mix of national and international collaborations, the album resonated deeply with audiences, achieving best-selling Number 1 status in Spain within its first week. The record is a testament to their dedication and innovative approach, blending flamenco’s emotive storytelling with cutting-edge electronic production.
In the summer of 2025, their second album, Spanish Chica, will be released, and its first single, Báilame, is already available to enjoy.
